Owner's description

Café Caprice combines artisan cocktails, a café-style menu, relaxing lounges and sidewalk seating to experience the epitome of Cape Town’s cosmopolitan social scene. Situated directly across from Camps Bay Beach at 37 Victoria Road, open 7 days a week since 1999, it is a home for many Cape Townians and a must visit destination for tourists. Camps Bay beach is the ultimate sunset viewing spot and Café Caprice provides the perfect backdrop, as DJ’s fill the space with laid back music from Thursday to Sunday with a deep, chilled house soundtrack.

Friday night is a jump with the dj and service was great.
All customers are important! And today I felt discriminated against because I was alone. I got to this place to have wine and view the sunset. The waiter moved me to another spot because he had a bigger crowd. I was more than happy to! Because after all I was alone. Then the bigger crowd moved to another spot, when I asked to be moved back to the spot where I can watch the sunset the waiter gave me attitude for days!!!! Extremely unhelpful and unwilling to hear me out. He left before I could finish speaking and forced another crowd to move to my previous spot. Unnecessary! Unnecessary! I am willing to find another smaller table because I am alone, for him to leave while I was still speaking is completely unacceptable. Worst service ever.
There's nothing better than spending a hot summer's afternoon and evening at Cafe Caprice. Good looking staff ready to serve you a beautiful cocktail or delicious plate of nachos, caprice is the place for any Capetonion and is a must for any visitor!
Make sure you visit Cape Towns most sought-after Beach Bar Venue. Enjoy something that truly is Cape Townian, a "Granadilla Lolly" cocktail whilst enjoying the African sunset stretching over Camps Bay Beach, Upbeat Beach Bar Music to take you from Day-to-Night ( Especially on Sundays) . Cafe Caprice has an unforgettable atmosphere, friendly staff, quality cocktials and super mixologists. Don't forget the Burgers and Nachos which are always winners!

Best cocktails and famous nacho's is what summer is all about! Burgers are good too, especially the Old Skool! Without a doubt the best year-round vibe in Cape Town!
