Food:

A crayfish and prawn cocktail or seared Norwegian salmon with a white beurre blanc shows the menu’s classical overtures. Subtle quirky touches are also evident in dishes like prawns Benedict – prawn and salmon linguine with chilli and coriander cream, kumquat atchar and poached quail’s egg.

Wine:

With sommelier Thato Goimane’s selection oenophiles will travel the wine world, from the Cape to Bordeaux. Also featured are water, cognac and whiskey menus.

Service:

Erudite and excellent. All etiquette is religiously followed.

Ambience:

An opulent, immaculately styled room. White vinyl armchairs, white frames on oil paintings and crisp linen tablecloths are striking against the dramatic backdrop of petrol-blue walls and carpets.
