Food:

The menu is local and seasonal; try slow-roasted Kroonstad duck or pork belly from Durbanville. The dishes are imaginative and beautifully presented. There’s also a sushi bar, although this is where the imagination runs dry – all sushi platters have the same rolls, the amount and pricing is just multiplied.

Wine:

The wine list is presented as a leather-bound book – filled with information and suggestions. There’s a choice to suit most palates.

Service:

Servers are unobtrusive and only there when you need them. Their knowledge of the menu and wine list is impeccable.

Ambience:

The decor of this glass-roofed restaurant is minimalist and slick – the straight edges are softened by lush green indoor trees, a water feature and live piano playing.

And...:

Fantastic dessert wines and desserts are on offer. (ML, September 2010)
