Al Fiume 

Italian for "at the river", Al Fiume is set on a wooden deck on the banks of the Hennops River. The restaurant boasts its own wine cellar which stocks a wonderful variety of well and lesser known wines from across South Africa. On the menu is a selection of anti-pasta dishes such as the thinly sliced veal loin coated with a creamy tuna sauce. Of course, the cosy spot is best known for its authentic pasta dishes. Don't leave without trying the Fettucine Emilliane – pasta with a classic bolognaise sauce served with mascarpone cheese and sauteed mushrooms.

By all means visit this restaurant but give them your phone number at your own peril; if you do you will receive spam smses for the rest of forever. I never gave them permission to spam me and even after 2 years of asking, pleading, threatening and even yelling, Al Fiume refuse point-blank to remove my number from their spam list.

This restaurant has been sold to new owners who keep the previous prices but have downgraded the food. A real rip off, more of a conference buffet or wedding venue. The food was appalling, and they are trading on the previous Al Fiume. Don't go!
