Food:

A fresh look at fine dining, day or night, with a few more traditional recipes for good measure, suitable for conventional and more adventurous eaters. The mostly locally influenced dishes include some unexpected combinations that work really well, substantial salads and more than lip-service to vegetarian options. To start try Calamari Ginger in beer batter, perhaps moving on to ostrich fillet with black cherry reduction and ending the journey with the four flavours of the Spice Route ice cream.

Wine:

Excellent options on a well thought-out list, with a compact but great by-the-glass offering – including the Lombard house wine. The fully stocked bar has plenty of high-end and expected options. Also wine-pairing evenings.

Service:

The pleasant waitrons are au fait with the menu and service remains pretty good.

Ambience:

Location, location, location – waves are visible from the deck, the perfect spot for a lazy afternoon trying out the cocktails. Indoors it’s a contemporary look with classic roots - high, plush drapes, dark wood, earthy colours, with much detail and texture.
