Food:

Ami boasts a small à la carte menu, which changes often, has strong French influences and also relies heavily on seafood like oysters and prawns, although there are meat, chicken and vegetarian options. We feasted on the tequila, chilli and garlic poached oysters; the smoked salmon and prawn risotto cooked to perfection; and a succulent prawn and chicken curry. Portions are on the small side.

Wine:

It features both a champagne bar and a compact wine list with a range of wines to suit all pockets.

Service:

Quiet and efficient.

Ambience:

Up-to-date black and white decor and concrete floors softened by the use of wispy flowing drapes.

Ami has been on my list to visit for a few months - had Dinner Club with the girls here at last. Superb atmosphere - we sat outside, just lovely (movies playing on the blank wall - nice touch). Creative flavours and textures are the focal points of the dishes - excellent starters (prawn soup, lovely gorgonzola and pear spring rolls). Sole, duck and fillet as choices for mains - also well prepared. Reasonable wine list. Excellent service. Definitely recommended.

I visited this beautiful restaurant recently and it is most certainly one of my favorites! Attention to detail is beyond belief, from the décor to the food. Service was impeccable and staff were most accommodating. A bit on the pricey side but well worth the investment! I’ll be back in a flash!

Love it., love it., love it.! I am impressed Ami (friend). I felt so blessed to be able to share a wonderful dinner with wonderful friends in an amazing place like Ami. The food (incredible), the decor, the vibe - everything works together so well. I will go back time and again - a special thank you to our waiter for the perfect service, and to the chef - your dessert is out of this world.
