Food:

Delicious home cooking by Sue Campbell is a good reason to explore the eastern Free State cuisine scene. The menu will have you salivating – try the beetroot soup with apple and pistachio preserve; beef and Guinness pie, potato wedges and veggies; or pork neck in an apricot cider gravy. The desserts are so mouthwatering, it’s almost worth it to skip the main meal and feast only on sweets.

Wine:

A big selection of local wines.

Service:

Local is lekker – the staff members are all from the area, and their sweetness, charm and service ethic, combined with the right guidance from the owners, creates an enviable sense of harmony.

Ambience:

This small space is cosy in winter, and expands onto the pavement for breezy days and cool, starry nights in summer.
