Owner's description

By now a South African seafood stalwart, the CTFM is a lively family restaurant that serves seafood in any which way you want – from fish and chips, curries and oysters, to sushi, teppanyaki and seafood platters. Non-fish-eaters need not fear, as the menu also offers a fair selection of meat, poultry and vegetarian dishes.

    We only go to the restaurant for sushi. The service at the sushi bar is really good. Sushi itself was s excellent and well presented good.
    What a rip off. Huge prices for poor food, and even poorer portion sizes. They must have a massive mark-up. The Hake and Calamari I had was a tiny piece of Hake, and 4 small strips of Calamari... Sorry, Last night was my last time I dined there. And I used to be a massive CFM fan, but it has changed... Oh and what is more: For some reason one of the managers think it is his job to stand at sushi bar and chat/shout at the sushi chefs... all the bloody night...

    Quality of sushi is deteriorating,
    * bite-size portions are getting too big for one bite,
    * sushi area is not clean and tidy,
    * visually not appealing anymore,
    * sushi crumbles before you can eat it
