Food:

The streamlined menu doesn’t forsake diversity with fare like gnocchi and lamb tagine; cauliflower, nutmeg and crispy courgette cappuccino; or parmesan custard served with anchovy bruschetta. Baked goods include muffins and the rather colourfully named chocolate brownies. (Read it to believe it.)

Wine:

A succinct list, offering one option per popular varietal.

Service:

Always friendly, mostly laid back, sometimes a little neglectful. Menu insights and recommendations are delivered with passion.

Ambience:

A funky, urban space conceptualised by owner Neil Roake and cutting-edge Egg Design. Cleverly adapted shipping containers host an intimate dining area, although the courtyard is prime real estate.

And...:

This is an amazing space for private functions. (TG, October 2011)
