Monday night, 28 July, we walked in around 6pm. The place was busy!!!! We were lucky enough to snag an open table. The owner is constantly walking through the tables, assisting his waiters, chatting to the clients and smiling at the kids. The service is good and if there's a trainee waiter, he/she wears a t-shirt with 'new kid on the block' on the back. Cute. Hein had the Arrosto Pizza - new addition: roasted red pepper, asian deboned smoked ribs, rosso onion, smoked paprika, mature cheddar. It was absolutely delightful!! I wanted 2 pizzas on one (yeah, greedy me). I chose the Nacho LIbre - Jerk Spiced Chicken Breast Strips, home-made Guacamole, Tomato Chilli Salsa (freshly chopped), fresh Coriander and Sour Cream - Wow, the amount of Guacamole was just super!!! A really nice-tasting pizza!!!! And I also chose the Green Genie - Roasted Garlic, roasted Butternut, roasted Beetroot, Shiitake Mushrooms, Rocket, Avo, *Italian Parmesan, Feta, Pumpkin Seeds, Sesame Seeds, Sunflower Seeds. Balsamic glaze. Although this pizza half was nice, it wasn't mind-blowing. It needed something 'strong' to make it a wow factor. The food is really imaginative and good! A pizza called 'Smokey Babe' - Asian deboned Smoked Ribs, Red Onion, fresh Corn, Spring Onion, Mint and Coriander. Wow, amazing. The Moghul Pizza - Indian Butter Chicken Breast Strips, Fior di Latte Mozzarella, Yoghurt, fresh Coriander, topped with crispy Onions - really different and you have curry and pizza all in one! Pizza Drago (my favourite) - [no tomato base] Norwegian smoked Salmon, Wasabi Sour Cream, Wasabi Soy Balsamic glaze, Seven Spice, Spring Onion - wow, these flavours were just amazing!!!! And for dessert??? A Nutella pizza, topped with fresh strawberries, marshmallows and ice cream. The best!
