The Dog’s Bollocks at YARD (Gardens) ?

This industrial-feel restaurant is known for amazing burgers, but also offers great options for chicken wings (R104). The chicken wings come in three different basting flavours: sweet and sticky BBQ, Asian-inspired and hot. There also seven different dipping sauces from which to choose.

This little speciality food stall located in Mojo Market serves crafted chicken wings in hot, barbeque and honey mustard. You can get them crispy or not crispy, with dipping sauces of blue cheese or sweet chilli. Get an eight-piece portion (R89) or a 16-piece portion (R159).

This rooftop location in up-and-coming Maboneng is well-known for the meat dishes on offer. Gor for the four-piece BBQ wings (R75), the chops and wings (R145), the steak and wings (R180) or the sausage and wings (R165).

The Wing Republic (Braamfontein)

The name says it all – this restaurant is serious about its wings. Go for the buffalo wings or the grilled wings. Butcher Block (Berea)

The family-favourite steakhouse with a modern touch serves up sticky chicken wings as a starter, smothered in a honey, ginger and soya sauce (R70). Looking for something more filling?
