Celebs to square off in 2018 Col’Cacchio Celebrity Chef Showdown

In the name of charity, three popular South African celebrities will square off once again in the 2018 Col’Cacchio Celebrity Chef Showdown. The popular Italian-inspired eatery will collaborate with rapper Jack Parow, celeb chef Siba Mtongana and internet sensation Nadia Jaftha to raise much-needed funds for the Children’s Hospital Trust, on behalf of the Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital.

The three personalities have created their very own limited-edition square-shaped pizzas that will be available at all Col’Cacchio restaurants in SA and Namibia from 7 September until the end of November.

Nadia has created the ‘Jou Ma Sala’, a spicy chicken Masala-infused pizza; Jack has created ‘Wors Tokolosh’, a meaty braai-inspired pizza; and Siba has created the ‘Sibalicious’, a flavourful sticky-chicken pizza. R5 from each pizza will go to the Children’s Hospital Trust.

The Celebrity Chef Showdown has raised over R2 million for charitable causes since 2009 and this year the funds will contribute to Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital’s goal of R112 million to build a state-of-the-art ER Unit. “We are really excited about this year’s Celebrity Chef Showdown,” says Col’Cacchio CEO and co-founder Michael Terespolsky. “We have managed to secure some great personalities to help us raise awareness and much-needed funds for a very worthy benefactor. We have received an overwhelming amount of support for this campaign over the years and our aim for the 2018 campaign is to raise more than we have in previous years.”
