5 great kids-eat-free specials in Pretoria

In back-to-school mode? Looking for some respite from the mountains of homework? Fear not, Pretoria parents, we’ve hunted down five great kids-eat-free meals around your city for those hectic weeknights. Your wallet and your kiddies’ tummies will thank you.

Doppio Zero (Hazeldean)

To beat the Monday blues, treat the little tykes to a fun-filled pizza night. At this family-friendly favourite kids get to build their own complimentary cheesy little pizzas with up to three of their favourite different toppings (such as feta, ham, mushrooms and pineapple). The special is valid for kiddies 12 years and under, and is valid for two kids per paying adult.

Mo-Zam-Bik (Silverlakes)

Kiddies eat for free every Monday at this Mozambique-inspired spot. Tuck into your platter of peri-peri prawns while the little ones enjoy easy nibbles like toasted cheese sandwiches, crispy chicken strips with Mo-Zam-Naise, kiddies beef or chicken espetada with a garlic-and-lemon sauce, crispy calamari, or fish fingers. This deal only applies to one child per one adult ordering a main meal and is for eat-in only.

Papachino’s (Silverlakes)

Head here for Teddy Tuesdays: Kiddies eat for free when the whole family joins. Little ones ordering from the Papachinos Bambinos menu can tuck into meals like DIY pizzas; toasted cheese fingers; kiddies’ Alfredo pasta; mince volcano (Bolognese and mash); calamari and chips; and bambino burger and fries. The deal runs every Tuesday (excluding public holidays) and only applies to children under 12.

Relish Bistro (Hatfield)

Enjoy a hearty meal with the family at this relaxing spot. Head here for an early bite on a Wednesday in the tranquil surroundings, when your kids can eat free (for every adult that also orders a main meal). Rascal-friendly options include sticky riblets, creamy mac ‘n cheese, fish cakes and fries, mini pizzas, and hot dogs. The deal is only available for one child per paying adult.

Villa San Giovanni (Wonderbloem Airport)

At this Italian restaurant, from 12pm to 8pm on Tuesdays, parents can enjoy classic pastas while the little ones are treated to their favourites. Mini meals include riblets, fish fingers, spaghetti Bolognese, lasagne, and margherita and regina pizzas. The deal includes one free kiddies’ meal for every adult enjoying a main meal.
