It’s official: Cape Town’s popular Chinese delivery, Monk’s, is coming to Loop Street. With the lease officially signed, the popular takeaway spot is set to replace Jason Lilley’s Bardough after his move to Green Point.

Although the details are still up in the air, the owners are designing the space to operate with a click and collect format similar to that of their Mowbray branch. There also won’t be a formal a sit-down area, which means that you’ll need to conveniently place your order online before enjoying the mouth-watering meal in full view of your envious colleagues.
