Yet another new eatery is set to open on Sea Point’s bustling Regent Road restaurant strip next week. Three Wise Monkeys is a ramen and izakaya eatery that will specialise in authentic bowls of noodles and traditional bao buns.

Located opposite the Checkers centre, the new restaurant is in prime position to catch hungry promenade walkers or those driving past on their way home from work. Three Wise Monkeys will offer both lunch and dinner menus that focus on affordable Asian eats. The lunch sitting will offer budget-friendly ramen dishes and select bao, whereas dinners will feature a more comprehensive menu. Guests can look forward to dishes like edamame beans, cold-smoked chicken wings, and duck ramen with umami broth and secret duck tare.

Three Wise Monkeys is currently doing a few dry runs to smooth out any bumps, but will be opening its doors sometime within the next week. Keep your eyes on the Facebook page for opening announcements.
