The Pavilion at The Marine (Hermanus)

Celebrate the beginning of 2018 with a roaring four-course New Year’s Eve dinner at The Marine. Starting at 8pm, the dinner will include a welcome drink and canapés as well as glass of bubbly at midnight. For R950 per person, the menu features fynbos gin-cured salmon gravadlax, a risotto with wild mushrooms and garden peas, a trio of lamb, creamed potatoes and much more. The vegetarian menu, for R795 per person, features labneh cheese with an apple-and-fennel slaw, a garden pea risotto and a mushroom-and-spinach Wellington with a carrot purée and vegetable jus.

Don’t miss the festivities at The Plettenberg, with bottomless bubbly flowing throughout the night. Dinner will begin at 7pm with canapés and welcome drinks before five courses of food featuring dishes like roast prawns, seared kingklip and a camembert cheesecake with pineapple ice cream. There is also a menu for children, which will also include a welcome drink, as well as rice-paper wraps, slow-braised beef stew tacos, hot chocolate and brownies. The Restaurant at Grande Provence (Franschhoek)

Indulge in a luxury buffet on New Year’s Eve for R2250 per person, including a complimentary glass of Grande Provence brut served with West Coast oysters on arrival.
