Dinner in the Sky

If you went to the beach in Cape Town this festive season, you might have spotted what looks like a huge table dangerously dangling in mid-air, high above the towering villas of Camps Bay.

Giving new meaning to eating out with a great view, the Dinner in the Sky concept which has just reached Southern African skies, offers adventurous diners a seat at a 5-ton table suspended 40 meters above the ground.

Currently situated at Camps Bay High school, the table caters for 22 guests strapped into swiveling chairs, with menu options including breakfast or light lunches at R350 per person, to a 3-course dinner at R1000 per person.
