Although nearly a year old, Addis in Cape only recently had its official inauguration and is still one of the Mother Citys undiscovered gems, offering diners an authentic African eating experience that is unlike anything to be found at the tourist traps in the rest of the city.
Assisted by a home-trained Ethiopian chef, owner Senait Mekonnen manages to create a magical African experience with exceptionally flavourful Injera and Wot (large sourdough crepes with spicy stews), beautiful traditional coffee ceremony performed at your table (buna) and a stylish selection of authentic furniture and crafts.
