After the success of last year’s must-visit event for meat lovers, Eat Out and Tramontina will once again be hosting a Steak Out in Joburg. On Saturday 15 September the Eat Out Steak Out, in partnership with Tramontina, will host top steakhouses from Gauteng at the Fourways Farmer’s Market. Each steakhouse will pit their sharpest knives against each other to impress guests with their signature cut of steak and sides.

R350 gets you entry, a taster from each of the steakhouses at the event, a beautiful Tramontina steak knife and two free drinks. The participating steakhouses include the likes of Che Argentine Grill, The Local Grill, Chaplin’s Grill, The Bull Run Restaurant, Carbon Bistro, Don Armando and The Publican. Doors open at 12pm and there is a cash bar available. Look forward to Frontier Beer and wines from Allesverloren.

Last year’s Steak Out included tempting tasters such as meat from an authentic Brazilian churrasco (braai); dry-aged sous-vide sirloin; picanha rump with mushroom sauce; fillet with feta and Café de Paris butter; and even a bone marrow and whisky shot!
