Krispy Kreme reveals location of first Cape Town store

After over a year of teasing fans with announcements, the wait is officially nearly over – Krispy Kreme has finally announced its latest store location and opening date.

The international doughnut chain, which opened its first South African branch in 2015, will be opening its first Western Cape branch in September in the bustling, tourist-attracting location of the V&A Waterfront.

According to Twitter and Instagram announcements by the doughnut giant, the new branch will open its doors to fans on 10 September. This means that Mother City locals are mere days away from getting their hands on the famed glazed, sprinkled, and filled doughnuts, which will be served fresh from Krispy Kreme’s new home at FC04 and FC05 at the V&A Waterfront (the food court near the amphitheatre).
