Over the next three days, Eat Out will be reporting live from the grand finale of the S. Pellegrino Young Chef 2016 competition in Milan.
Twenty talented young chefs from across the world will showcase their creativity and culinary skills to compete for the prestigious title.
The final leg of the international competition will see the chefs preparing and presenting a signature dish to a jury of seven international judges. Known as the “Seven Sages”, the impressive group includes former Eat Out Chef of the Year David Higgs, as well as Carlo Cracco, Gaggan Anand, Elena Arzak, Mauro Colagreco, Wylie Dufresne and Roberta Sudbrack. A single winner will be chosen, following extensive evaluation based on the criteria of the five “Golden Rules” of ingredients, skill, genius, beauty and message.
