The new café, which will be the brand’s fourth branch, will offer the classic and ever-changing seasonal ice cream flavours that fans will know from their Mouille Point, Newlands and Palmyra Junction stores. Durbanville ice-cream lovers can also expect to enjoy The Creamery’s signature late-night treats; trusty freezer of take-home tubs; and to-go toppings to enjoy at home. The shop will also have a cosy interior and a lovely, big outdoor seating area for customers who want indulge al fresco.

The store will focus on scoops upon opening with more desserts and drinks to be introduced in the coming months. The menu will consist of a combination of a few favourite limited edition desserts from their other branches like the warm chocolate pudding and the lemon meringue sundae; new summer-inspired fruit flavoured ice creams like the cherry choc chunk; as well as some classic fan favourites for the holidays such as the honeycomb crunch, cornflake milk and pecan nut.
