New fynbos menu at Bushmans Kloof

Bushmans Kloof Wilderness Reserve – a sanctuary for 755 species of indigenous flora – is celebrating the botanical richness of their Cederberg location with the introduction of a new menu which contains signature dishes using fynbos herbs and rooibos tea.

Chef Jannie Melis and his team prepare a selection of home-style comfort foods using only the best local, organically grown produce from Bushmans Kloof’s own gardens.

Diners can experience such appealing combinations as buchu smoked ostrich carpacciowith a refreshing rocket and parmesan salad, or succulent karoo lamb shank bobotie, with spiced raisins and apricot, fynbos custard and pineapple salsa, while those with a sweet tooth, will be tempted to try a trio of rooibos, apple and berry sorbet.

Bushmans Kloof offers a variety of dining options ranging from outdoor settings such as Embers or the informal River Boma, to fine dining in the dining room of the Homestead.
