Pretoria’s hunger-busting all-you-can-eat deals

We hope you’re hungry. We’ve rounded up the buffets in Pretoria that will satisfy even the biggest appetites.

Chapters Restaurant at Leriba Hotel (Centurion)

Chapters Restaurant at Leriba Hotel is offering a Sunday lunch braai buffet for R225 from 12:00 to 15:00. 

Die Plek (Montanta)

Die Plek Boerenkos is all about traditional boerekos and the comforts that go with it. The buffet runs every Sunday from 11.30am until 3pm and the sumptuous selection includes bean and chicken soups with vetkoek, tripe potjiekos, beef stew, chicken pieces or chicken pie, pork neck with rice, vegetable medley, roasted potatoes and samp. The cost is R120 for adults, R50 for primary school kids, R20 for pre-school kids and R100 for pensioners.

O’Galito (Centurion & Woodlands)

Head here for a filling breakfast buffet every day from 8am to 11am for R49.95 at Woodlands, and R38.95 at Centurion Mall. The buffet includes toast, fried or scrambled eggs, omelettes, boerewors, buffalo wings, grilled garlic mushrooms, saucy chicken livers, baked beans, spring rolls and bacon.

Le-Si Restaurant (Lynnwood Manor)

Lesi Restaurant has a variety of buffets, including the breakfast buffet for R175, continental breakfast buffet for R175, buffet selector for R320, as well as the buffet menu selector for R352.

Meadow Green Restaurant at African Pride Irene Country Lodge (Irene)

Start your day off with Meadow Green Restaurant’s breakfast buffet. Home-roasted coffee or international tea greets you before you help yourself to the huge selection of cold meats, waffles and croissants. For R75, you’re unlikely to regret it. There’s also a fusion buffet featuring dishes like Malay chicken curry with coconut milk and rare roast beef with cinnamon pumpkin for R280 per perso. Don’t miss the Saturday Night Live buffet for R295 or the Sunday lunch buffet for R275 per person, complete with a traditional carvery.

Tataki Oriental Cuisine (Val de Grace)

The sushi buffet at Tataki Oriental Cuisine is available every day from 11am to 4.30pm and 5pm to 9.30pm, for R169 per person (R109 for kids under 12).

Yamazaki (Centurion, Waterkloof)

For just R165, eat as much sushi as you can at this seafood specialist. The buffet is available Mondays to Sundays.
