Raw and Roxy re-locates to fresh new location

Attention, vegans of Cape Town: Raw and Roxy has relocated to a new and shiny space on Hout Street. If your heart sank at the sight of the demolished building on Bree street, fear no more, the vegan and raw food hotspot has found a new home and will continue business as usual. After having to vacate their old premises on Bree street due to construction plans, Raw and Roxy has taken over the space previously inhabited by Villains Ale House.

In case you weren’t obsessed enough with their delicious raw offerings, things are about to get a lot more exciting. The new setup will feature much of the same raw vegan food and juices you’ve come to know and love, but the extra space will allow them to expand their menu, too. Owner Beatrice Holst told us: “We are going to be adding more fermented things, more gourmet meals, as well as some lighter meals.” They are also going to have a dedicated juice, smoothie and superfood tonic bar.

She’s also looking forward to making the most of the passing foot traffic and will even be extending the restaurant’s opening hours to two services in the evening on the weekends. There’s also a DJ booth, which means Raw and Roxy will soon host events.

After a fresh lick of paint and some minor décor tweaks, the new space looks lighter and airier than ever before. You can now enjoy watching the outside world go by as you enjoy one of Raw and Roxy’s famous vegan dishes along with a fresh juice.
