This licensed partnership means that local coffee lovers can soon look forward to tasting the entire Starbucks range of food and beverages. But Joburgers will be first.

“We’re looking forward to bringing the entire Starbucks experience to South Africa for the first time. That includes 100% ethically sourced Arabica coffee, the full Starbucks menu offering and, of course, beautiful coffee houses,” says Carlo Gonzaga, CEO of Taste Holdings.

The first store will open in Johannesburg in the first half of 2016, with more locations to follow.
