The Westcliff’s new Executive Chef

The Westcliff welcomes back Executive Chef Sven Niederbremer after a two year hiatus. Sven has already re-created all the menus at the hotel, infusing them with the passion and flavour, and elevating the hotels culinary offering to new heights.

An introduction to Spanish cuisine has left an indelible impression on the young German.  I really believe that the Spanish embrace the kitchen of the future, he says with enthusiasm.  The Spanish interact so beautifully with their food.  Their cuisine is healthy, creative and naturally advanced in a futuristic sense, he explains.

Svens plans for The Westcliff include designing more menus which focus on utilising local ingredients and produce while embracing a back to basics approach which is simple and inspired by quality.
