We’re excited about the sparkling new, Cité restaurant – just opened in the Dunkeld West Centre.

This exciting new continental/fusion eatery is the brainchild of well-known foodie/chef, Jaco Welgemoed, ex-Circle and Singing Fig.

Jaco calls his food ‘urban comfort’ – a temporary respite from the stressors of the city.

He rolls off some of the more special items on the menu – chicken liver paté, lamb shank, salmon with pea and mint and chicken in saffron with pears.

Yum.

Jaco’s last project was the well-received Thai-Africa’s Orient restaurant at Melrose Arch, which Men’s Health calls one of the top Thai restaurants in Joburg for 2006.
