Japanese Cocktail

Hennessy cocktail

A Classic from a later edition of the original cocktail book “A bartenders guide” 1887 by Jerry Thomas.

Ingredients

50ml Hennessy V.S.O.P Privilège
12.5ml Orgeat Syrup, or almond syrup
2 dashes Angostura Bitters
Garnish: Lemon Twist
Glass: Coupe or martini

Method

Add all ingredients to a shaker tin with ice and shake until chilled, strain into a cocktail coupe and garnish with a lemon twist.
