Port and gorgonzola grilled cheese on rye

Fresh figs add sweetness to this rich take on cheese on toast. Try it with a little extra port, for sipping.

Ingredients

125 ml Port
200g crumbled gorgonzola
1 slice rye toast
4 sliced baby figs

Method

Reduce about a cup of Port. Crumble gorgonzola into a bowl and pour over the Port. Mix well. Place mixture on a toasted piece of rye. Grill for a few minutes and add sliced baby figs.
