Food
Seafood is the draw card here, from the subtle bliss of scallops with spring onion risotto to a show-stopping lobster Thermidor with black cherries. Grills of aged beef are also perfectly cooked. Leave room for the cappuccino semifreddo: it’s a heavenly light way to close a rich meal.

Wine
A great selection as long as you don’t drink by the glass. Prices are in keeping with the luxe setting.

Service
Waitrons glide around diners in their own dinner-dance spectacle of polished efficiency and truly exceptional service.

Ambience
Enormous chandeliers and Art Nouveau details produce another world of plush, lush sophistication. A live band plays Sinatraesque tunes for couples twirling in-between courses.

And...

We were turned away at the door for not meeting the 'dress code'. My partner was wearing cut off pants, though not in an informal style. I had booked for a date night and driven far to come. No one told me on the phone that there was a dress code, I didn't see it on the website or here on Eat Out. There was only one other table at the restaurant but the hostess wouldn't let us in. Our greeting was rude and we were treated poorly. Very pretentious and inhospitable. I won't be going back.

Perfect! My partner and I went for date night and it is so fantastic. I bought a groupon voucher and thought that we would be treated like aliens, this happened on our last groupon voucher but alas our waitress was so good and explained everything so beautifully, we opted for the two sauces suggested, which complimented the prawns and crayfish perfectly. The seafood platter was good quality seafood and cooked perfectly too. Pigalle is a little expensive for everyday eating out hence the groupon but I will be back, specials or not. The atmosphere feels a little holiday resorty but they are trying hard to get a younger crowd. I loved it. Thank you Pigalle xx

The welcome was tremendous even on the menu to please feel at home, but do not dare to ask for a glass of water and you are considered cheap low citizens and suddenly not made welcome anymore even from the owner! Boycott this place!
