Food:

The cuisine of the east is well interpreted here with real oriental chefs at the wok. Try the Indonesian grilled beef and chicken satays; prawn, calamari, or vegetable tempura; roast Mandarin duck; and a Thai chicken jungle curry hot enough to bring a tear to your eye. The desserts are not too imaginative, so rather have a don pedro.

Wine:

Well-priced, adequate list. The Asian beer is just right for this type of food.

Service:

Laid-back but friendly and efficient.

Ambience:

Recently renovated after all these years, Pon’s still has a great atmosphere. At its buzzing best in the evening.
