Food:

Rediscover what originally made Mediterranean food so popular. Sample meze of dolmades, tzatziki, falafel and baba ghanoush. Simple is magnificent in the crispy, thin-based pizza with Parma ham, rocket, mushrooms and mozzarella, washed down with a glass of Pastis anise aperitif.

Wine:

Owner Marc Friederich is an experienced sommelier and it shows on the comprehensive list, which includes a map of the local wine route.

Service:

Waiters work like mother hens, co-ordinating everything from start to finish and providing an enjoyable experience.

Ambience:

The stoep out front and the paved backyard provide the best locations for lazing and people-watching in true Med style. Inside, it’s a little more cultured with wood floors and pumpkin coloured walls.
