Diners still obsess about the grilled calamari with nahm jim dressing and succumb to chef-patron Chris Black’s memorable trotters if on special. The risottos are exemplary, as is the duck, which may come with gingered butternut mash with orange sauce and confit zest.

A thought-provoking selection is stored in a temperature- controlled environment and decanted. Spanish sherry is offered by the glass.

Ambience
