You’ll get little else besides fresher-than-fresh sushi and sashimi at this tiny no-frills spot in Simon’s Town harbour. Great for impromptu bites. Heavily-laden platters fly out of the minuscule kitchen, straight from the knives of the friendly chefs. Combo platters that span nigiri, hand rolls, salmon roses and inspired maki mono choices are your best bet, while the menu also features specialities from both chefs (including a very tasty seven-spice sashimi and seaweed salad). Prices have risen lately. The wine list is tiny and favours organic choices. (VS)

Even on a cold winter's Saturday - it was great to be able to look out at the gray sea and enjoy fabulous fresh sushi - which included yellowtail sashimi. Food and service excellent as always!

Absolutely the reason I am now a sushi lover. Kathy has it all perfect. Wonderful combination platters complemented with organic wines - definitely worth a drive out to Simons Town.
