Food:

There’s no hurry at this laid-back venue. The food arrives promptly but they’re happy for you to take your time, drinking in the vineyard and mountain vistas and relaxing over another glass of wine. The mushroom crêpe with sautéed leek and beetroot sauce is tasty, while the lamb tomato bredie with garlic mash is a crowd pleaser. If faced with a choice between the malva pudding and the chocolate bread and butter pudding, opt for the former as the latter was a tad stodgy and bland.

Wine:

Rickety Bridge’s own – red, white and pink.

Service:

Friendly, pleasant and willing.

Ambience:

Relaxed, laid-back and restful. In good weather, enjoy the patio tables under the Bedouin tent.

And...:

Visit the shop alongside for a range of Rickety Bridge branded goods, like aprons, cheeses and bread boards . Or try the pickles, relishes and sauces. (FM)
