Bayleaf & Sage is a great little place with great food. It does superb breakfasts (try the salmon scrambled eggs in a croissant), upmarket sandwiches and delicious pastas.

Wine
It’s principally a breakfast and lunch joint that now does dinners too, so opt for a superb coffee or choose from the selection of beers. Se rvice Good – and this a neighbourhood where expectations are high.

Ambience
Open-view glass walls give abundant light and a feeling of spaciousness, but the intimate tables wrap you in a cocoon of your own. This restaurant is popular and buzzing.

The superb food keeps its loyal customers coming back, time and time again. There are often queues but they move quickly. (TS)
