The first time I visited this very Capetonian feeling coffee shop, I thought I'd found the place where I could relax and unwind in the middle of Fourways. However after a couple of very disappointing experiences I will not be returning. The first happened when I went for breakfast with a friend and had to return 2 cups of coffee because they were burnt and ate a muffin that tasted way too healthy. The second was on an afternoon when I was writing an exam the following day. I popped in with my books, hoping to enjoy a cup of tea and study. To my delight the restaurant was empty and the music was soft so I ordered and began to read. As if seeing me studying the manager stood up and turned the music up to a staggering volume. I complained to the waiter, who said that they were "testing something". In the end I left without drinking my overpriced cup of tea (R25!) and shall not return.

Absolutely a must-see! The interior decor is an eclectic mix of rustic and quirky. I love the lampshades made of plastic flower pots. The restaurant has an amazing ambience. I had the chicken pie with salad. Very yummy! The little truffles that came with my bill was an unexpected surprise and I loved them! I can't wait to go back and sample some more!

This is the most stunning restaurant around the Fourways area. The decor is superb and so is the food......you will love it
