The atmosphere at this restaurant adds a sense of occasion to your outing. From the nibbly bits upfront (homemade seed loaf with lemon olive oil and dukkah) to the decadent desserts, the offering is classic, yet interesting and desperately delicious. Favourites include starters of springbok carpaccio with pawpaw and brie, phyllo parcel with berry coulis and main courses of beef fi llet (an excellent cut that’s perfectly done) and juicy, lemony tiger prawns. Leave room for the ‘Sinnful temptation’ – a baked chocolate pudding with Von Geusau chocolate. Great selection of local wines. (AG)
