Food
Cargill’s menu is breathtakingly unassuming and utterly superb. Chateaubriand is the bedrock main course, but if you find duck on the menu, be tempted to stray. Starters are characterised by simple asparagus or pan-fried mushrooms, and, being French, the desserts are rich, delicate, and dominated by chocolate.
Wine
An excellent winelist has been carefully crafted and leans towards the premium and pricey.
Service
Your waiter discreetly serves you, while the chef pops out proudly to ensure his creations are being enjoyed.
Ambience
The dining room is small, intimate and has walls covered with a curious art collection. This is a place for gentle and quiet conversation, a place where talk of local elections and world markets should be forgotten.
And...
The unfashionable location combined with its old-world atmosphere and uncompromising food make it an unusual yet excellent choice for a business lunch designed to impress. (LW)

Simply the best dining experience for a very long time, the Norwegian salmon was cooked to perfection. And, the creme brulee is to die for, all in all - outstanding
