Like many, seeing so many cars outside on a Saturday morning, I decided to grab a few pastries in the morning before work. I paid R35 for a croissant and a regular sized muffin and I'm still wondering what did I actually pay for. The croissant should be labelled something else as it wasn't what the name suggests. It was dry, uninspiring and all round disappointing. I've just finished a carrot muffin, to which I can taste the bicarb or salt in the mixture, which leaves a sharp uncharacteristic taste associated with a muffin. I'm not sure what all the hype is about, but I certainly won't be visiting this place again.
