Angelo’s Café

I used to visit the former Angelos' in Central but then decided to try the Summerstrand one. As soon as I entered I was seated by a coloured gentleman with long dreadlocks. He handed me the menu and I ordered Tramezzini which was delectable with dry lemon. The waiting period before my meal was ready was noticeable given the fact that Tramezzini is just a simple toasted sandwich which doesn't even take 5 minutes to prepare in my kitchen. On delivery of the meal, my waiter vanished into thin air, tried getting the attention of the other waiters to get me my bill but it was like talking to a brick wall. Eventually my waiter showed up and when handing me the bill informed me that their menu is so cheap which gave me an impression that he was suggesting I tip him more for such disservice! How about did you enjoy your meal? maybe that could have moved me. To me that was like the last straw. Angelos central had nice interior decor, friendly staff but Summerstrand? Thanks but no thanks! You don't meet my low customer care standards.
