Stunning restaurant with a very good selection of wines, busy atmosphere and very good service - with all these positive comments, one normally thinks 10/10 right? Wrong!! We were highly disappointed with the food!! The waitron made 100% effort to describe all the ins and outs of their menu, but failed to follow through on her promise. The fillet steak was as tough as cardboard (despite her saying that their meat ages in their fridges and goes through a maturation process), one of our guests found hair in his plate and our other guest was shocked to pay R45 for a GLASS of Buitenverwachting dry!!! Our group of seven was on a mission to experience the tastes of what the waterfront restaurants have to offer and being in the hospitality industry, we need to do recommendations often. We were totally disappointed by the quality of the food! I dont think it is in our interest to recommend this restaurant to our clients (unless more care into preparing the food can be undertaken!)
