What a horrifying and expensive experience! Shortly after ordering a bottle of wine the waiter asked if we wanted to order and we said we needed more time. Then came the manager ten minutes later to ask if we are ready to order...that is what he does firstly and is not concerned about anything else so obviously doesn't bother to ask if the wine and service is up to scratch. We then proceed to order and nobody bothers to find out if we have a preference for medium, mild or hot. Then comes the food. I ordered a dish that I am extremely familiar with but was unable to eat more than a mouthful of the food because it tasted horrible! At this stage the food is standing on the table and cooling down but neither the waiter or manager is at this point interested in finding out if everything is okay. The restaurant wasn't busy - which should have been a clear indication of what to expect. The waitress proceeded to snap the plates off the table without asking if she could clear them and the manager at this stage was nowhere to be found. Bukhara just presented us with a disgusting experience and I would never recommend it to anybody. Horrible food, terrible service. Is this really the kind of service we are willing to tolerate in South Africa????
