Chapman’s Peak Hotel Restaurant

My wife and I took my sister to lunch at Chapmans Peak Hotel Restaurant as we are off to Zambia tomorrow. Sadly, our Calamari was drenched in old used oil, and my sisters hake was raw in the middle. We sent her Hake back, only to get an even worse piece of hake back, this tasteless and jellylike (definitely not a fresh piece of hake). Our waitress (who was quite good by the way), then offered my sister a free desert, which she declined. I then asked the waitress to please tell the manager that the least she could do was come and apologize or explain why things had gone so terribly for our lunch. When the bill came, the manager had STILL not arrived, so I went looking for her, only to find her shouting at our poor waitress for offering us a free desert&drink. When I called her over, Bronwynne crept over to me (feeling very embarassed) and went on about how the 'new chef' is so terrible. I then asked her (again) to please come and apologize to my sister. She said she would be right over, but then never arrived. As we left, my sister feeling very disappointed, took it upon her self to go give the manager a piece of her mind.
If the owners OR someone from higher management would like to contact me for more information, please feel free to do so, on vic790@gmail.com, as I leave to Zambia tomorrow.
