We were delighted when on a visit to Johannesburg, friends invited us for lunch at Glenda Lederle's restaurant in Hyde Park. Knowing her skills from old, it proved to be a fresh enjoyable lunch venue, with predictably good food, a contemporary, bright and light space, with staff (including wonderful 'oldies' like Viv, well known to many of us, and adored, plus a great new team), and a great addition to the dining options in the area. A compact menu of seasonal specials, well executed and good wines (also great options for those not wanting wine). Easy parking and happily not hidden in a shopping mall, we look forward to returning.
