Avoid La Piola at all costs. There are plenty of other great pizza restaurants in Cape Town.We decided to pop in on Saturday evening for a quick bite at around 8 pm. After we had ordered, we waited for more than an hour for our food. We approached our waitress and she said we would have them in two minutes. Ten minutes later, still no food, and I approached the open plan kitchen to find out what was happening. Instead of the expected apology, the staff was aggressive and arrogant and told me to go sit down and wait my turn. I have never experienced anything like itI have emailed the restaurant but have had no reply.
