WHAT A RIP OFF. We got a city slicker VOUCHER for this restaurant at end of November we book five days ago for the whole family. I said we had the cityslicker voucher and quoted the number when the owner took the booking he said just bring your voucher no problem. When we arrived on Sunday and was ordering the staff told us we could not use the voucher I asked them to phone the owner he then said he was told TWO WEEKS AGO THAT cityslicker was in liquidation and could not accept our voucher but if we stayed he would offer us 50% discount on the bill including the drinks. All at the table heard this and I asked him three times and then handed the phone to his head waiter. We then order from the main menu and the bill came with only a 30% discount we then had to pay over R900 as we gave the staff a tip for the full bill. He insisted he had never said 50% although all at the table heard him. He never arrived. The food is adequate and the restaurant seems to be run by a few staff. Very dismal we shall not be returning and I advise anyone to not accept any specials advertised by this restaurant. We were the only ones there until two tables arrived at 2pm so obviously not a well frequented restaurant.
