We went today to the Glenashley branch and had the worst experience we had in Durban for many years - we are regular diners in Durban.
We arrived at 12.30 and ordered our mains just before 1 p.m. After an our hour we asked the Manageress why our food was taking so long. She said there was a problem with the till system. Our waiter who had showed no interest to in us then said the food was on the way. 15 minutes later we called a Manager, Craig who dealt with the issue and said it was their problem and the order hadn't been dealt with properly. Eventually the food arrived (the food was very good). Once we finished our meal no-one cleared the plates until we called Craig again. We ordered 2 brownies that hadn't arrived after 22 minutes so we called for the bill. We were told Management were meeting and we had to wait for them to take the Brownies off the bill, another 15 minute delay! A shocking experience!
My previous visit to this restaurant was on 16 February 2014 where our order also was lost and we waited an hour for our meal (two pastas') - will be very difficult to go back even though the setting is great!
