This is one-of-a-kind restaurant which caters for the public as well as the estates home owners. From walking into this exquisite boutique hotel, you will be amased at the space it presents to guests.Every last detail has been thought out with luxury in mind. What is probably the most interesting is the fish bowl effect of watching the Tintswalo Chefs team cooking up a storm through the window of the kitchen adjoining the Feedroom Restaurant. The food is magic brought to life, with its intense flavours and colour hitting you in the face to awaken you to fresh produce and a passion for eating. Its a culinary journey through the best and freshest of produce with dishes like a Prawn Boboti Springroll on a (truly South African) Paw Paw Salsa and Thai Green Curry sauce. For Mains I would recommend the Beef Fillet (or any of the Mains to be honest) cooked to perfection. The aromas floating out of this small but industrious kitchen could challenge any of the worlds leading boutique hotel kitchens. For dessert the luxurious Italian Ice-cream-like Praline Semi freddo was an absolute treat. After dessert order a foamy cappucino and watch the city light up over the night sky.Tintswalo means happiness or a feeling of gratitute. And that is exactly the feeling you will nourish upon every return to this property.
